In the interest of transparency, this page explains how SanskritCalendar.com handles links that involve a commercial relationship — whether that's an affiliate commission, a sponsorship, or our own product sales — so you always know where you stand when you click a link on this site.
Our own products
The calendars and e-books listed on our Shop page (the Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Tamil and Bangla Calendar 2027 editions, the Gayatri Mantra print, and the Vishnu Sahasranama e-book) are our own original products, created by SanskritCalendar.com and Evavel Private Limited. Purchases are processed through idplr.org, a third-party checkout and delivery platform we use to sell these products — this is a first-party sale of our own work, not an affiliate arrangement, and we don't earn a commission from someone else's product through that link.
Affiliate links
An affiliate link is a link to a third party's product or service that, if you make a purchase through it, may earn this site a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We don't currently run any affiliate partnerships on this site, but we may add them in the future, for products or services genuinely relevant to what we cover (books, Panchang tools, or similar). If and when we do, this page will be updated, and affiliate links will typically be marked as such in context.

If a piece of content on this site is ever sponsored or created as part of a paid partnership, we'll disclose that clearly on the page itself, in addition to this general policy.
Our editorial approach
Whether or not a link on this site involves a commercial relationship, our factual content — Panchang calculations, festival dates, Sanskrit meanings, and similar — is researched and verified the same way regardless. A commercial relationship with a company doesn't change what we say about a date, a translation, or a calculation.
