ब्रह्म मुहूर्त

Brahma Muhurta — The Pre-Dawn Auspicious Window

ब्रह्म (Brahma, the creator deity, also "the Absolute") — the last Muhurta of the night, roughly 96 minutes (two Muhurtas) before sunrise, traditionally considered the best time for meditation and study.

When it falls

Brahma Muhurta spans the two Muhurtas (roughly 96 minutes) immediately before sunrise — for a 6:00 AM sunrise, approximately 4:24–6:00 AM, though the exact window shifts with the actual sunrise time for your location and date.

Why it's favoured

Traditionally associated with mental clarity, reduced distraction, and a Sattvic (pure, calm) quality of atmosphere — commonly recommended in yoga and Ayurvedic traditions as the ideal time for meditation, study, and spiritual practice.
