अभिजित् मुहूर्त
Abhijit Muhurta — The Daily Auspicious Window
अभिजित् (abhijit, "victorious, unconquered") — the one Muhurta that recurs daily, falling around local solar noon.
When it falls
Abhijit Muhurta spans roughly 24 minutes before to 24 minutes after the Sun's zenith (local solar noon) — about 48 minutes total, matching the general definition of a Muhurta as 1/30th of a day.
Considered favourable — with one exception
Abhijit Muhurta is traditionally considered auspicious for starting most activities, on every day of the week except Wednesday, when it's traditionally not favoured.
Why we don't give a fixed clock time
Because it's centred on solar noon, not clock noon, Abhijit Muhurta's exact timing shifts with your longitude, the season, and the equation of time — a local Panchang for your city and date gives the precise minutes.
