Choghadiya — An 8-Part Daily Timing System

Like Rahu Kaal, Choghadiya is calculated by dividing daylight into 8 equal parts (and night into another 8). Which type occupies the first slot depends on the weekday's ruling Graha, then the 7 types rotate through in a fixed order. Because it depends on local sunrise/sunset, an accurate reading needs a live Panchang for your city.
